The USB Implementers Forum has recently certified Allion Labs as the only authorized lab and testing location accredited to test for USB-IF certification in the latest category of USB 3.1 Gen 1 Peripheral / Peripheral Silicon with USB Type-C™.

With this recognition, Allion is currently the first and only testing lab to perform such USB testing services for the USB 3.1 (with bandwidth transfer super-speed of 5Gbps) and the symmetrical USB Type-C™ connector. The latest authorization as the only testing lab for USB 3.1 Gen 1 Peripheral / Peripheral Silicon with USB Type-C adds to Allion’s existing recognition and authorization by the USB-IF to conduct testing services in Host, Device and Peripherals, Cables and Connectors, Power Delivery, and many other USB testing services.
